Christopher Sorli, MD
Vice President and Head of Diabetes for US Medical, Sanofi, USA Christopher Sorli joined Sanofi in 2016 and currently serves as Vice President and Head of Diabetes for US Medical. In his current role, Chris oversees US medical strategy and medical activities for Sanofi’s established and developmental portfolios of diabetes products. Chris began his career at Sanofi in 2016 as the Global Medical Lead for New Injectable products and served in that role until transitioning in 2018 to his current position. Prior to joining Sanofi, Chris served as Chair of the Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Billings Clinic where he founded and led a Center of Excellence in Diabetes and Metabolism, a Clinical Research Center and Metabolic surgery program. Chris has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of Type 2 diabetes, Obesity, Metabolic Surgery and Metabolic Syndrome and has been the principal investigator on over 50 trials. Chris is originally from the Boston area, attended medical and graduate school at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency and Endocrinology fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital Boston and University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinic respectively. |
