The American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) is a national non-profit organization that supports and advances pioneering biomedical research that is revolutionizing how we live healthier and longer.

For nearly four decades, AFAR has served as the field’s talent incubator, providing more than $178 million to more than 4,100 investigators at premier research institutions nationwide. A trusted leader and strategist, AFAR also works with public and private funders to steer high quality grant programs and interdisciplinary research networks. AFAR-funded researchers are finding that modifying basic cellular processes can delay—or even prevent—many chronic diseases, often at the same time. They are discovering that it is never too late—or too early—to improve health. This groundbreaking science is paving the way for innovative new therapies that promise to improve and extend our quality of life—at any age. Learn more at www.afar.org or follow AFARorg on Twitter and Facebook.

The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) is the nation's oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging. The principal mission of the Society — and its 5,500+ members — is to advance the study of aging and disseminate information among scientists, decision makers, and the general public. GSA fosters collaboration between physicians, nurses, biologists, behavioral and social scientists, psychologists, social workers, economists, policy experts, those who study the humanities and the arts, and many other scholars and researchers in aging. This stems from the belief that the intersection of research from diverse areas is the best way to achieve the greatest impact and promote healthy aging. Through networking and mentorship opportunities, GSA provides a professional home for career gerontologists and students at all levels.  Learn more about GSA by visiting our website, www.geron.org.

The Methuselah Foundation is a medical charity advancing regenerative medicine to make 90 the new 50 by 2030. Methuselah's goal is to enable humans to live longer, wiser, and better, by defeating age-related diseases and suffering. Supported through the private donations of individuals and organizations that share this common vision, the Foundation has become an agent of change, replacing resignation toward the suffering of aging with a new understanding of what is possible. By including a full range of near, mid, and long-term strategies within the scope of its vision, the Foundation expects to return powerful and measurable results to its supporters within timeframes that are meaningful to them both as individuals and to society at large.

Longevity International is a social enterprise bringing together start-ups, industry, academic, and governmental stakeholders under one umbrella to provide a unified voice and coordinating vehicle for positive discourse and change to ensure the ‘longevity dividend’ is accessible to everyone around the world.

Longevity International is the secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group for Longevity in the UK, set up in March 2019 to address the scientific, technological, and socio-economic issues relating to our aging demographic and promote living younger, healthier, and longer lives. The APPG is aiming to produce, with partners and experts, a draft National Strategy by the end of 2019 setting out what the United Kingdom needs to do to meet the goal set by government of five more years of healthy life expectancy by 2035 (HLE + 5) and at the same time to close the large social gap in healthy life expectancy.

Through an ambitious action plan in 2020, the APPG aims to turn the ‘problem’ of aging into one of the most promising opportunities of the 21st century – and secure Britain’s place as a global leader in longevity by providing access to the ‘longevity dividend’ to everyone equitably in society.
